Thankfully, running isn’t a high maintenance or costly sport to participate in and if you’re looking to support the runner in your life, it doesn’t have to be by expensive shoes and clothes. There are all different kinds of runners and all different kinds of needs for each of them.
If the runner in your life (or even yourself) has been putting in the hard work then they should be rewarded with gifts! (They’ll probably agree) Especially gifts that won’t break the bank and can make your running life easier. With the holiday season right around the corner, I’ve come up with a runner’s wishlist to help make shopping a little easier:
Science in Sport Energy Gel Pack
These gels are easy to take on a run and are proven to work by giving you a quick calorie boost. They come in packs of different flavors and would be great for stocking stuffers.
poshei Mens Headband
Headbands can come and go but these have been my favorite. They keep your hair back and the sweat out of your face.
Born to Run
If you like ultra running and adventures, this is a great book for the reading runner. Christopher McDougall (author) will remind you why you love to run.
Body Glide Original Anti-Chafe Balm
We’ve all been there, chafing is the worst. Giving this as a gift would change a runner’s life.
ALVES 2pcs Washable/Reusable Wet Bags
Running doesn’t stop when you click ‘Finish’ on your watch. If you still need to get into your car and drive home, you might want to change into some dry clothes before you sit in your car. Why not put your sweaty clothes in something that can handle the sweat, and keep the stench at bay. These bags would be a great gift for the sweaty runner in your life.
HOPESHINE Microfiber Gym Towels
Your cross training can get intense and before you know it you can feel the sweat dripping down your face. Make sure you or the runner in your life dry off with these microfiber towels.
Pure Protein Bars
When you put yourself through a tough run you need to fuel your body with protein as soon as possible. These protein bars are low in sugar and gluten free.
remodeez Activated Charcoal Shoe Deodorizer
Shoes are the most used equipment in running and cause some bad odors. Having a shoe deodorizer might be more of a gift for everyone else than the person receiving it.
Sport2People Running Pouch Belt
As a runner, or maybe you are new to running, you will soon find out that running with items in your pocket just doesn’t work. With a running belt you can fit your phone, keys, snacks and extra cash in a safe place and won’t bounce around while you’re out running.
LED Shoe Clip Lights
Runs during early morning and night is dangerous, especially if you aren’t using any type of light or reflective gear. Some clip on lights can wobble around but these conveniently clip on the back of your shoe and you can’t even notice they are there.
Under Armour unisex-adult Run Cushion Crew Socks
These socks have made a difference in my running so much I even wrote a review about them here. They come in different colors, are supportive to your feet and feel comfortable.
Touch Screen Running Gloves
If you have ever ran with gloves, you know that it’s nearly impossible to use your phone. These gloves are lightweight with touch screen capabilities on your thumb and pointer finger.
ThunderFit Silicone Wedding Ring
This gift idea is for the runner who enjoys the gym but doesn’t want to scratch or lose their wedding band plus, gripping weights is more comfortable and can even be used if you are on vacation and don’t want to worry about losing your expensive ring.
LuxFit Foam Roller
Recovery is just as important as the run itself. Although it won’t fit in your stocking, it should be high up on your runner’s wishlist. A foam roller can relieve sore and massage sore muscles so you can get back out on your run and recover quicker.
Running Stemless Wine Glass
For the runner who enjoys a nightcap but still can’t stop thinking about running, this would be right up their alley.
Love all these affordable options. This list will be extremely helpful since the holidays are upon us!
Thank you, I hope this brings some holiday cheer 🙂
